I’m Jaclyn Wallace, a Texas native who found home in St. Louis. I am married to a wonderful man who whole-heartedly supports and encourages my mission of spreading the word of a what a doula is and how important it is to have one at every birth. Together we created the most beautiful baby boy I could ever imagine and we’re eager to grow our family in the future.

After moving to St. Louis I followed my heart to my first passion, teaching! I received my Master’s in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and taught for three years, putting a dogear in that chapter to stay home with our son which has opened the door to my newest passion, birth work! I received my Birth Doula training through DONA International and will be certified by the end of 2023. I have also received my VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) certification through the VBAC Link.

Before pregnancy I had never even heard of a Birth Doula, but after my own journey it became my goal to tell everyone about how important a Birth Doula is! During my own pregnancy, labor, and delivery I came to understand the importance of having a Birth Doula. Throughout my journey my doula supported me by encouraging me to follow my own intuitions and trust that my body knew what it was doing.

If hired as your birth doula it will be my goal to ensure that you are empowered, educated, and supported throughout your pregnancy, labor, and delivery. I look forward to meeting you at our consultation.
